Ionithermie Detox Cellulite Reduction is a treatment developed by Olivier Fouche as a way to combat the effects of cellulite. The surgeon developed this technique during the late 1970’s. Over the past two decades the Ionithermie Detox Cellulite Reduction Treatment has made an impact in countless spas and salons in Europe. The impact of the cellulite reduction treatment is also seen on popular cruise ships, who offer the treatment to countless guests over the years. immediate results.

How does Ionithermie work?

For Ionithermie to work effectively there is a five step process, which involves a variety of products to ensure the best results of the procedure. The five step process includes the use of sea plants such as algae, kelp and ivy. Galvanic stimulation, Fradic stimulation, micronized algae.

The first step is identifying the problem areas that require treatment and then applying the mixture of sea plants. Plants such as Algae, Kelp, Ivy and Guarana are all applied to the affected area of the body. These sea plants are specifically used in the Ionithermie process ass they posses minerals that are conducive for the procedure to work. These minerals also affect the cells of the body under the skin, as it allows the cells to renew and rehydrate.

The second step once the sea plant mixture is applied is to wrap the affected areas with a layer of cloth or fabric. Once this is done a special mixture of clay infused with algae is applied over the fabric. The Ionithermie aroma clay will act as a conductor for the next process. It also will generate a small amount of heat, which in turn makes it relaxing for the patient. The infused clay consists of micronized algae which as stated above, contains minerals that affect cellular activity in the body.

The third step involves the use of electric stimuli to infuse the body and the cells with the mixture applied in the previous steps. The first electric stimulation is Galvanic stimulation. This kind of procedure uses negative and positive ions to infuse the mixture deep into the lower tissues of the body. The ingredients….

The fourth step is another form of stimuli, this one is Faradic stimulation. Faradic stimulation involves.

Cellulite lasers are the newest technology to attack the unsightly look of cellulite. Cellulite is a common term that has been used to describe the dimpled appearance of the skin that some people get on their thighs, hips and buttocks. This condition is rarely seen in men but can be found in over 80% of women over the age of 20. Originally thought to be linked with obesity, it has been since discovered that cellulite holds no such connection. While cellulite occurs because of the body’s fat cells, its appearance is only due to the way the fat cells lie on or in between the connective tissues of the body, not because of how many fat cells an individual actually has.

While cellulite is an ever-growing concern for many women today, the main keys to preventing cellulite growth are maintaining a healthy, balanced diet, exercising, reducing tension and increasing overall body circulation. But for those fighting a continuing battle, laser cellulite treatments can greatly reduce the appearance of cellulite in the body. Laser cellulite treatment combines massage with laser light in order to maximize skin tightening in the treated area. The cellulite laser combination of laser and massage works to enhance overall body contour and significantly reduce the outer appearance of cellulite.

Treatments with lasers and other devices are sometimes painful, need to be repeated periodically, and must be done by a physician. But women who seek more dramatic results may want to try these pricey techniques before lower-tech options.

A caveat: Some of the technologies are FDA-approved as Class I devices–meaning, they present minimal potential for harm. But others are being used off-label–that is, not for the purpose for which they are approved. And some are still being tested and have not yet been submitted for FDA approval.

How does Cellulite Laser Treatment Work?

Although there are several different ways the treatment is administered, the most common is the use of radio frequency waves in the infrared range that are directed into the skin to a depth of only about 1.5 cm. The waves heat and effectively melt the fatty cells.

Cellulite laser surgery is combined with deep skin massage and skin smoothing with flat paddles that deliver the RF waves into the skin. Creams and various medications are often used in conjunction with the treatment. The cellulite laser surgery smoothes the skin and reduces the dimpled look that causes so much embarrassment.

Cellulite laser surgery is totally non-invasive, and there is no recovery time involved. Although still fairly new in the United States, the procedure has been used in Europe for some time with great success.

Types of Cellulite Laser Treatments

Laser Toning
For cellulite that has more ripples than isolated, divotlike depressions, Beverly Hills dermatologist Harold Lancer, MD, relies on the Galaxy, a device commonly used for facial wrinkles. It directs radio frequency and laser light energy beneath the skin’s surface, causing a wound response that lays down new collagen and tightens the skin. “I’ve treated 100 patients with the Galaxy, and the results are good,” he says. He is one of a few doctors using the laser for cellulite.

Cold-Laser Massage
The Tri-Active laser was approved by the FDA in January 2004 and is permitted to claim that it “temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite.” This device combines suction massage to increase lymphatic drainage, which filters fluid from cells; low-intensity diode heat to stimulate collagen production and tighten skin; and a cooling head to counter any burning sensation. “It’s so painless you can fall asleep while it’s being done,” says Mitchel Goldman, MD, an associate professor of dermatology at the University of California, San Diego.

Number Of Treatments.

Expect 10 or more treatments in any one major treatment area such as across your buttocks, thighs or other cellulite deposit areas. Individual sessions will average 30 to 40 minutes. Total costs will be a multiplier of your total number of sessions, usually spaced across 3 to 4 months.

Cellulite Laser Results

The results from using laser to remove cellulite from your body will vary on a wide variety of issues. This non-evasive technology results is determined by the person who is being treated and how their body reacts to the treatment. The results can also be determined by the different body parts being treated. Different parts of the body could react differently to the laser treatment and some show better results than others. You can also see results if the laser treatment is combined with liposuction, diet and exercise or any other cellulite reduction method that is being used. Finally the results can be determined by the amount of treatments that the individual gets. It is recommended that follow up visits are needed to ensure that the affected area is treated properly. Failure to follow up with treatment may give the person unfavorable results.

Cost of Cellulite Laser Treatment

For the laser cellulite treatment to be effective you have to do treatments more than 10 times. Depending on the doctor that you go to they may have the price for an individual treatment or they might offer a package combining your required treatment.

The price mentioned is an average and might be more or less depending on your doctor and where you live. A single treatment of the TriActive laser treatment usually costs anywhere from $100 to $150. For a bundled package of 16 treatments, it can cost between $1500-$1800. There are usually maintenance treatments after your complete your intial work. These are usually less than $100

This in-turn allows for fibers to thicken, which will eventually bind with the multitude of coallgen fibers that run throughout the cells in the body. This results in the a large amount of thick strands that will push on the fat, resulting in it bulging upwards resulting in the cellulite look. It is during this time that the masseuse will apply a clean towel or sheet, covering the relevant areas, while exposing the parts that need to be worked on. The masseuse will then go into the cellulite massage routine. The different parts of the body will be squeezed, twisted and massaged. This can last from 15 minutes up to an hour.

Step 1: You should first apply an ample amount of massage oil to the region that is affected by cellulite. The massage oil will help with your hands glide across the body easily.

Step 2: In starting the cellulite massage, you should start at the lowest part of the body and then work your way upwards.

Step 3: Varying pressure should be applied to the skin during the course of the massage. You can do certain moves, that will ensure that you get the best possible massage. These should be alternated when doing the cellulite massage.

Accent treatment is a new technology that is used for the reduction of cellulite. Accent uses radiofrequency that will allow different depths of fat to be attacked (volumetric thermotherapy). The system uses a combination of surface cooling and two types of radiofrequency energy to heat underlying tissue at different depths. The device also contains two different hand pieces used for the treatment of various body reshaping therapies and other skin imperfections. Accent tightens the broken bands of tissue that normally hold back the fat, creating a smoother appearance over the skin. The process also reportedly improves circulation in the area and promotes absorption of retained fluids and toxins. Patients feel no pain, but may have some slight redness of the skin.

This device was created and developed in Europe and has been in use for many years. It has been used to treat cellulite cellulite, but actual weight loss has been seen in some women. These devices are used to heat up and break the bands that allow fat to protrude on the thighs, buttocks and abdomen the process, new tightening collagen is formed to smoothen out the skin.

Accent works with patients receiving treatment 6 times over a 3 month period. The treatment is very simple and comfortable and it can be done quite quickly without the patient feeling any pain after treatment. Depending upon the area selected treatment times could range from 15-60 minutes.

Accent cellulite treatments feels like a warm deep massage. When the treatment is applied the patient will feel soothed and relaxed, as the warm sensations penetrate deep into the patient’s body. A lubricant is applied to the body before treatment to allow for the hand piece to move smoothly across the body.

The treatment starts with a trained professional or doctor using a unipolar hand piece. They use this hand piece in a rubbing style across the affected area. This hand piece is moved quickly across the affected area as staying in one place too long could cause burning of the skin. The hand piece delivers a warm heat that will affect the cellulite plagued areas of the body.

The radio frequency used in Accent will penetrate different layers of the skin. In using this device it will penetrate the first layer of the skin. It will go 2 – 6 mm into the tissue, where it reaches the adipose tissue and cellulite. Right here is where you will see structural and superficial change. In the second layer the Accent waves will have the capacity to reach up to 20mm into the skins tissue. In both cases the heating element of Accent allows for the contraction and contraction of the affected areas. It applies deep dermal heating to the fat bundles (a) to bring about new collagen formation and skin remodeling. Stimulating enhanced blood circulation, the procedure also helps drain trapped fatty deposits and toxins. Finally, its thermal activity serves to shrink fat cells (b). Accent is designed to uniformly heat the dermis with heating to these tissue depths therapeutically improves local circulation, promotes fibrous tissue breakdown, and helps to manage areas subject to edema by promoting the re-absorption and drainage of retained fluids and toxins. The immediate effect of this heat is to cause the dermal collagen to contract giving a skin tightening effect. Accent tightens the broken bands of tissue that normally hold back the fat, creating a smoother appearance over the skin.
In treating cellulite using Accent you are going to see a noticeable reduction in your cellulite. As mentioned above, in the treatment time period, people were able to see cellulite reduction after just 4-5 treatments. He says the treatment is not a permanent cure for cellulite. Eventually, the fat deposits will build again and patients may need more treatments. Both technologies may be used on all skin types and colors and there are generally no risks, side effects or post treatment

Another benefit of Accent cellulite treatment is weight loss, improved circulation, a decrease in muscle aches and pains as well as the tightening or firming of looser skin.
