Having cellulite sucks and it is even worse if you have it on the legs or butt. You probably will be more self-conscious and not want to wear that that nice sexy bikini or those shorts you got on sale. So for those of you who are desperate and want to get a quick fix for cellulite, I will take a look at some of the more popular home remedies and treatments that people use.

Quick Cellulite Treatments

There are so many different types of treatments available for cellulite. With so many to choose from, I will highlight the best quick fixes. Below you are  going to find some of the more popular treatments and home remedies.

Topical Cellulite Creams

You have probably seen these creams in stores or advertised on television. Cellulite creams are really some of the best quick treatments out there for cellulite. Most of these creams contain caffeine and it has been shown that caffeine is good at increasing blood flow to the skin and also removing moisture from it. What happens is that the skin will firm up temporarily and as such, the overall look of cellulite will be reduced.

You guys should be aware that there is no scientific proof that cellulite creams work. I have known a couple of friends who have used the creams and they swear they work. I guess take everything with a grain of salt, but if you need to really get rid of cellulite quickly, this would be the best bet.

Make Your Own Coffee Rub

A lot of people who use coffee to treat cellulite often indicate that it is a pretty effective quick fix. Part of the reason why this home remedy is so popular, can be traced back to the fact that most of the cellulite creams contain caffeine.

To create your coffee rub, all you need to do is make a mixture of used coffee grinds and olive oil. You then apply the mixture to skin. The coffee should be held in place by wrapping the leg with some plastic wrap. After a couple of minutes, remove the wrap and wash the coffee off. This temporary fix should lessen the look of cellulite on the skin.

Drink Tons of Water

Drinking water is something that you should be drinking daily if you want a healthy body, but it is also really good if you want a quick fix for cellulite. Drinking water will help in flushing out toxins and unnecessary fat cells from the body and all of these contribute to the look of this skin condition. It is well known that water has been used to expel toxins, and restore health ((“Water for the Ultimate Body Detox”. Disabled-world.com. Retrieved 2012-06-05)), so you should be gulping down your 8 glasses for the day.

Have a Nice COLD Bath

The cold bath is another great Cellulite Quick Fix.  In the morning just fill your bath with some cold water (the colder the better). You can sit around and soak yourself for a couple of minutes. You see, cold water tightens the skin and tighter skin results in less visible cellulite.

Some Advice on These Quick Cellulite Remedies

Let me start by saying that there is no magic cure for cellulite. As it relates to all the remedies and fixes that we mentioned, they may or may not provide a temporary reduction in the look of cellulite. It is really a good idea to try them out to see if they work, but there is no real guarantee that they will.

To really get rid of cellulite, you are going to have to eat properly, lose weight and workout, so that you can firm up and tone your body.

  1. I’ve tried the coffee thing but it’s very messy, I don’t really know if if worked either. Think I had to do it a few more times or something. But what I did want to agree on is your last line. It’s true, there really isn’t a quick fix and it all goes back to diet and exercise is the key. What I found is that targeted exercises help alot, like squats and lunges, or any exercise to work your back end.
